This notice covers the AutoMedic website’s launch-notification signup. It does not describe a future app account or vehicle records service.
What you choose to share
The form asks for your email address, your permission to receive launch and availability emails, and an optional interest: used-car buying, vehicle diagnosis or both. No account or vehicle details are required.
How signup works
After submitting, you may receive a confirmation email. Follow its link and confirm on the page to join the list. Unconfirmed addresses are not included in the confirmed launch list. The private design preview does not collect email addresses.
How the information is used
AutoMedic uses your email and optional interest to manage its launch list and send the launch and availability updates you requested. It records consent, confirmation and unsubscribe status with timestamps. The form also uses a hashed network address and short-lived request counters to help limit abuse.
The signup service runs on AutoMedic’s hosting. Confirmation email is delivered through Resend, which processes recipient and delivery information. Your submission is not displayed on the website.
Changing your mind
Use the unsubscribe link in the signup email to withdraw permission. The service retains a suppression record to avoid sending future launch updates after you unsubscribe. A new signup requires email confirmation before an unsubscribed address can rejoin.
Availability
Joining the list does not create an app account, reserve paid access or guarantee a release date. Signup is available only when the public site’s form is enabled.
